The Board is not engaged in the day-to-day editorial work, but will oversee our publications to ensure a continous high standard, and serve as consultants whenever needed.
Ingvild Sælid Gilhus, dr.philol. is Professor of Religion at the University of Bergen, Norway. She works in the areas of religions in late Antiquity and new religious movements of the present and has published extensively in both areas. Ingvild Sælid Gilhus is Honorary Doctor at The University of Copenhagen.
Olav Hammer, Ph.D. Professor of the History of Religions, University of Southern Denmark. He has published extensively on religious innovation in Europe, New Age religiosity, the relation between religion and science, and new religious movements in the Theosophical tradition.
Bruce Lincoln, Professor, Ph.D., University oif Chicago, USA, is famed for his critical approaches to the study of religion – his studies of discourse, practice, power, conflict, and violence in particular. His research focus on pre-Christian Europe and pre-Islamic Iran, but covers a far wider range. Bruce Lincoln is Honorary Doctor at The University of Copenhagen.
Christopher Partridge, Ph.D. is Professor of Religious Studies at Lancaster University, UK. His research and many innovative publications focus on the historical developments and current status of so called alternative spiritualities, countercultures, popular culture and, not least, music.
